Introduction

A common misconception of migraines is that they are just bad headaches, but actually migraines are a debilitating condition and can interfere with and hinder common, everyday tasks. A migraine is a fairly common condition, affecting about 1/10 of the population, although about half of those living with migraines go undiagnosed. Women experience migraines far more than men, with a ratio of about 3.5 to 1.
